Beaba Baby

So this is on my want list for the next baby. I'm really getting sick of supplying money to the Gerber bank when I'm fully capable of making my own baby food. I saw this at William's Sonoma and told Jeff that this is a must have. All the accessories that go with it are just adorable. Aww someday you will be mine.

  1. Until then, if you get really tired of the baby food expense, you can use a blender. It worked but I lost a lot of the food on the side of the blender, and added much more water that I would have liked. I have a hand powered food mill, and liked that except for the amount of effort to grind/blend the food.

  2. I always blend the food in the blender then pour it into ice cube trays. When the food is frozen I dump the little baby food cubes into labeled freezer bags. The door of the freezer gets stocked with bags of frozen peach, pear, carrot, beans, pea, chicken, beef, etc cubes. Then when I want to make baby dinner I pull a couple cubes out, put them in the bowl and microwave. You can mix and match, like 1 cube of carrots and one cube of beef, to make new combinations.

Once the freezer is stocked it's very simple and extremely inexpensive to feed the little chunker as much as she wants!

Good luck with finding your way to keep Savannah satisfied!
